From Random Jobs to Full Time Model and Business Owner: Ashleys Resch’s Story

How discouraging does it become when hopping from job to job early on in life? For one young woman, she never let her setbacks define her, Meet Ashley Resch, a full-time model and Founder of Reach with Resch. She was once just that same teenage girl with big dreams having to go from job to job, but her motivation and persistence allowed her to make it out. This is how she changed her life and became one of Canada’s most sought after models.

Early Life Struggles

For any ambitious individual, the most difficult part of their journeys is always the beginning, otherwise known as being in the gutter. Ashley’s journey started with her working multiple different survival jobs just to get by until her plans and dreams finally took off. When you’re in a situation like that, staying motivated and focused on the bigger picture can be very difficult, especially at a young age. So How did Ashley manage to stay so focused through the hardest times?

For Ashley, the destination she felt was meant for her life played a big role in keeping her locked into her goals. According to Ashley, she was always a very spiritual person and that faith in her destiny helped her find more time to work on the things she wanted in life. From booking all her weekends for modeling shoots to staying up late after her serving job to maintain a blog she had at the time.

Overcoming Obstacles

Although it may seem as if Ashley was just given overnight success, that couldn’t be any further from the truth. Ashley was dealt adversity through every stage of her life but by building her mindset to push past the adversities she was able to grow stronger. For example, she mentions that one quote that had helped her through any obstacle she faced was “Without rain, Flowers don’t grow”. This alone speaks volumes on the character that Ashley had to build to get to where she is today.

Leveling Up in Life

Ashley Resch is a perfect example of someone who never settles in life, even though she has already built an extremely successful career she continues to strive for the next level of her life. According to Ashley, over the next 5 years, she plans on finishing her Women & Genders Studies / Sociology degree and applying for law school. An impressive educational foundation for any young business professional. On top of finishing her studies, she plans on moving to the USA, expanding her business, and starting many more as she grows into a powerhouse example of a female leader.
